Shakhtar midfielder close to transfer to Leicester

Shakhtar midfielder Tete, who plays for Lyon on loan, is close to moving to Leicester.

According to Transfermarkt, Tete left Lyon to arrange a transfer to Leicester. The loan agreement between Shakhtar and Lyon provided for the option to buy out the agreement of the Brazilian midfielder.

Recall that Tete moved to Lyon on loan after Russia's large-scale invasion of Ukraine. FIFA has suspended the contracts of all foreign players in Ukraine.
