Shakhtar CEO Sergei Palkin told how Chelsea co-owner Begdad Egbali checked into the same hotel with the Pitmen at a training camp in Turkey to negotiate the transfer of Mikhail Mudrik.

“Egbali called me and said, ‘I am here. I replied, "What do you mean by 'here'?" He said that he was in the hotel," Palkin said.
According to the NY Times, the 46-year-old businessman flew to Turkey on a private jet. After quick negotiations, Egbali returned to London, but with Mudrik.
