Superliga CEO Bernd Reichart said that the founding clubs of the project Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus plan to restart the project.

It is known that the new Superleague will include several divisions, 60-80 participants without permanent members. The details of the format are not disclosed, but it is known that the clubs are guaranteed to play more than 14 matches per season.

In addition, qualification for the Super League will be based on the results of performances in domestic championships. The National Leagues will remain the "backbone" of the game, with the Super League bringing in new revenue to support the entire pyramid.

There will also be spending controls that will be based solely on generated funds and not on competitively distorting capital injections. The new project was the result of detailed negotiations with more than 50 clubs.

“The foundations of European football are in danger of collapse. Our talks also made it clear that clubs often find it impossible to speak out publicly against a system that uses the threat of sanctions to thwart opposition,” Reichart was quoted as saying by Bombardier telegram channel.
