Lobanovsky Oleksandr Ishchenko arrived in the German city of Cologne, where two teams of the club academy of the age categories U-15 and U-16 (football players born in 2008 and 2007) continue their training, which were invited here by the local FC "Cologne" in August of last year ".
We would like to remind you that here our teams have the opportunity to train in safe conditions and play friendly matches with leading German clubs, gaining invaluable experience that will benefit them for their football future.
On Thursday, February 9, Oleksandr Ishchenko met with the representative of the FC "Cologne" foundation Torsten Friedrich, the owner of the "Terminal" hotel, where our teams live, Andreas Schubert, as well as the curator of the Dynamo delegation Xia Xio to discuss current affairs and plans for the future . In particular, an agreement was reached to meet the existing needs of the Ukrainian delegation, which are related to living, food, as well as solving and coordinating formalities related to residence in accordance with the rules of the host country, proper processing of documents, etc.
Due to the fact that the war in Ukraine is still ongoing, the participants of the meeting also discussed the possible development of events if our football players are not able to return home within a few months. The question of the participation of our teams in the German Regional League from next season and what steps need to be taken to achieve this were discussed.
In addition, the Ukrainian and German sides touched on possible cooperation at the level of the main teams "Cologne" and "Dynamo", but the results of future arrangements will be known later.
