On Sunday, February 12, Dynamo Kyiv played another test match at the Turkish training camp. The opponent of Mircea Lucescu's team was the Romanian club Politehnica.
test match
"DYNAMO» (Kyiv, Ukraine) — "POLYTECHNICA" (Iasi, Romania) — 2:0 (1:0)
goals: N. Voloshin (32), Tsarenko (65).
"Dynamo": Morgun, Gusev, Bol, Dyachuk, Dubinchak, Andrievsky, Yatsik, Tsarenko, Benito, N. Voloshin, Supryaga. (Composition from the 67th minute): Morgun (Ignatenko, 77), Malysh, Popov, Sirota, Vivcharenko, Yatsik (Vasilets, 77), Shepelev, Lonveik, N. Voloshin, Kabaev, Gorbach (Tsarenko, 87).
"Polytechnic" (starting lineup): Brynza, Kuadio, Tinku, Katanets, Finitsa, Vashvari, Krista, Roman, Moussi, Khlistey, Harrison.
Dynamo players actively started the match, trying to seize the initiative from the first minutes. Already habitually, the attacks of the Kyivans went on the flanks through Voloshin and Benito. However, the first scoring chance in the game was created by Polytechnic - the guests' forward Harrison shot Morgun into the crossbar. Moreover, a few minutes later, the Romanians could again open the score in the meeting: after a corner kick, Dubinchak kicked the ball off the goal line.
Closer to the middle of the first half, Dynamo again pushed the game back to the opponent's half of the field. And then they scored! Dubinchak has already completed a signature cross from the left flank to the center of the Polytechnic penalty area, from where Nazariy Voloshin sent the ball into the far corner of the opponent’s goal with one touch — 1:0! The Romanians tried to answer with their chances, but in the end they could have conceded one more goal before the break: Supryaga, having received a pass from the depth of the field, went one on one with Brynza, but our forward failed to outplay the goalkeeper of the "Polytechnic"...
The beginning of the second half was also for Dynamo, but this only applies to ball control, because there were almost no dangerous moments at the opponents' goal. It seemed that the match could end with a minimal victory for the Kiev team, but Lucescu's wards still managed to increase their advantage in the score: Tsarenko intercepted the pass of the Politekhnika central defender and shot right past the goalkeeper - 2:0. Interestingly, after this goal, both teams "revealed" and pleased with a few more moments. Shepelev could have scored the third ball into the goal of the Romanian club, but hit the crossbar.
As a result, the "white-blue" got another natural victory in sparring at the training camp in Turkey.
Recall that Dynamo will play its next test match on Tuesday, February 14th. The rival of Mircea Lucescu's team will be Maxim Shatskikh's Pakhtakor. The meeting starts at 16:00.
