The match of the 17th round of the Ukrainian championship "Minay" - "Alexandria" in Minay actually began with a quick goal by Vadim Vitenchuk and ended with a scandal. According to representatives of the Transcarpathian team, a series of mistakes of refereeing influenced the final result. The key episode - the goal scored by Alexandrians from offside. Oleg Kozhushko got into offside position on 84 minutes, and eventually made a pass to Maxim Tretyakov.

The refereeing mistakes were pointed out by the Minaya head coach Uladzimir Sharan during the post-match press conference. Subsequently, the club's press service published materials and video of the listed "questionable" episodes. The club president, Valeriy Peresoliak, also agreed that the officiating was incorrect, to put it mildly.

Valery Peresoliak

- Valeriy Ivanovych, you have one, but "hot" question - the evaluation of the match of Matchday 17 of UPL "Minay" - "Alexandria".

- Now emotions have subsided a little, but it was impossible to watch calmly during the match. And you do not need to be a fan of "Minaya" to recognize a series of gross mistakes of the officiating crew in a match against "Alexandria".

Back in the first half we should have given a penalty for the foul on Oleg Vishnevskiy, but the referee didn`t notice the foul. And after the break the referee could have sent off Denys Miroshnichenko. He twice played roughly against Andrii Buleza and once against Nazariy Vorobchak. At the same time, in two cases, Oleksiy Derevinski did not even award a penalty shot. That is, in his opinion, kicking and elbowing are all within the rules.

Of course, the hottest moment was the offside goal. On this moment, most journalists published a screenshot, which shows that Kozhushko was in an offside position when he passed the ball. It was a simple episode, there was no dynamics, and lineman Oleksandr Kholodzinski must have noticed that the Oleksandriia player was behind the backs of Minaya defenders. Maybe he noticed. Then why didn`t he signal it? It`s funny because Kozhushko himself saw that he was offside. And, I think, he did not believe that he would be allowed to complete the pass.

It turns out that the winner of the match is not decided by teams, but by referees. In our case, that wasn't an exaggeration at all. An illegal goal was scored in the 84th minute. All the time we were winning 1-0 thanks to a goal by Vadim Vitenchuk. And we could have taken the game to victory. But we had to be content with one point.

This is not the first match in which the referees show their incompetence. Do not go far - just remember the last game against Lviv. Before the break the linesman ignored offside twice. During the moment with the cross pass the Lviv forward really was only halfway through the half-court in the offside position. Probably, it was hard to notice without VAR - who among us does not make a mistake? But two minutes earlier the same Griso was two meters closer to the goal than our defenders. And he was moving along the right flank in parallel with the linesman. I can`t believe that the referee didn`t notice offside. It is impossible. What was the reason for his silent reaction - I do not know. Just explain how one can look players in the eyes after such games? Our coaching staff has to work as psychologists for the second consecutive matchday. I'm sick of it already.

This outrageous behavior of referees kills all the motivation of both the team and the management. Zakarpattya is not an industrial region. It`s hard for us to keep the club of UPL level. But we try - we create some conditions for the players. But after such games the motivation to keep the soccer club really disappears. And for what purpose? To then watch the referees kill your team on the soccer field? And are we the only ones like that? If you were to edit a video of all the refereeing mistakes in Week 17, that would be enough for an equal match - 90 minutes, plus compensatory time. Then why do we need such officiating?
