The fans of Dynamo Kyiv are going through a difficult period. Their favorite team is only fourth in the standings without a game or a result. This is not very pleasant, because not so long ago, the Kyiv team under Mircea Lucescu played twice in the Champions League and won all domestic trophies. It seemed that with the arrival of the eminent coach there would be no more significant falls.

The main reason is that the personnel potential does not match the ambitions of the capital's club. The legionnaires have all scattered. The former leaders have passed their peak. Young people are not ready to take responsibility for the result now. There is no opportunity to buy quality players.

Success and achievements will return. You just need to be patient. If you want to know the future of your team, then look at the composition of the youth teams.

In the 2016/17 season, the first team was also stuck. After two championships, Serhiy Rebrov's then-teammates were not competitive against Paulo Fonseca's Shakhtar. But Kyiv fans were pleased with the youth team, which made a splash in the UEFA Youth League. Yuriy Moroz's team won 5 games in 6 matches. Twice they beat such an eminent school as Benfica. Now there are 5 players from that squad in the first team - Tymchyk, Popov, Dubinchak, Shaparenko, Lednev. Mykolenko was sold. Buletsa will return.

The generation born in 2006 is very strong in Dynamo's system. The attacking trio of Pashko - Ponomarenko - Kalyn looks very promising. Kyiv has always been more successful in bringing up defensive players. And here we have three creative players at once, a full attack. At the same time, there is an interesting midfielder Osipenko. Defenders - Zakharchenko, Korobov, Dykyi. The goalkeepers are Surkis and Kiblytsia. I am sure that 5-6 players from this generation will reach the first team and give a breath of freshness to the team.

During the war, many families left Ukraine. It is very, very difficult for clubs to keep players under 18. They leave like refugees with one of their parents. There, agents try to warm their hands. Local clubs pay attention to them. Then you just have to convince them to come back.

For example, Shakhtar lost a lot of players born in 2005. Goalkeeper Kessel is in Slavia. Defender Bakay is in Salzburg. There is a whole galaxy of players in Germany - Kryvsun, Ruso, Stepanov, Olivchenko, Kryvtsov, Stralchuk, Hetman, Matviychuk. And the clubs there are mostly not ordinary ones: Bayern Munich, Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Dortmund, and Cologne. Winger Yakymenko plays for Brugge. He has already made his debut in the UEFA Youth League. Leuta, Boyko, Soroka, Wuhan are also in Belgium. Budko - AZ Striker Rybak in Barcelona. Hajduk has some players from Shakhtar. I can't remember them all. The academy has been scattered all over Europe.

"Dynamo kept its talents. We lost Dragan, who became an Atalanta player. He plays in the top ten position. Perhaps Vitaliy Lysytsky's son Andriy, who is in Fiorentina. He plays in the center of defense. Such a textured boy. Goalkeeper Petrenko is at Bayer Leverkusen. That seems to be all.

The demand for Dynamo's talents was huge. Pashko almost ended up in Sporting. Ponomarenko was in Slavia. We had to keep these players. We had to convince them to stay. Explain that they are the ones who are counted on and relied upon in Ukraine. To give conditions. This is not so easy and cheap. But Kyiv managed to do it.

The DUFL does not have it now. In terms of security, the tournament was not held this year. Therefore, it is very difficult to keep players without competitions. "Dynamo found a way out. Almost the entire 2006 team, along with their coach, is now defending the colors of Zorya in the U-19 championship. It's hard for them there. Because at this age, a year is already a lot. And there are players aged 16-17. They gain tremendous experience. Next season, Kyiv will have a very strong youth team.

The club's academy is located in Germany. We traveled around Europe a bit - Poland, Hungary. But now we have settled in Cologne. If you refrain from this, you will simply lose players starting in 2007. This is also an asset for the club. The Academy's living abroad is not cheap. Moreover, they cannot play in official matches there. No one will register a team from another country. But there is no other way out.

The current situation in Ukraine is such that good players will not come to us. No one wants to risk their safety, and now financial opportunities have dropped. Therefore, clubs will rely on their own schools. Even Shakhtar has switched to Ukrainian flights. With such losses, it will be very difficult for the Donetsk team to get new blood. They will play with what they have grown. In 2-3 years, Dynamo may have a very serous reinforcement from their own school. We just need to wait for these players to mature. There won't be much to oppose them.
