On Saturday, April 1, a match of the 19th round of the Ukrainian U19 Championship took place on the field of the Sokil stadium in Lviv, in which Dynamo Kyiv played against the local FC Lviv. This was the first match of our team after the break associated with the March matches of national teams of various ages.

In the tournament table of the youth championship, the opponents were separated by a fairly large distance before the start of the match: the Kyivans were on the second line, having scored 43 points, and the Lviv residents took the ninth place with 20 points, although they played one less game. The match of the first round ended in a draw - 1:1, and this time the match for Ihor Kostyuk's wards did not promise to be easy. The youth team of Lviv recently improved their game and before the meeting with Dynamo won two consecutive victories. They are now in the middle of the standings.
To open the score in the meeting, "white and blue", who immediately took advantage of the game, needed only 1 minute. The visitors almost finished their first attack with a goal: Slesar broke through the left flank, shifted to the right and shot into the center at Malysh, and Navin hit the left corner of the goal with an irresistible shot from the semi-circle in front of the penalty area. FC "Lviv" responded with a dangerous shot by Roman Mykhailiv from the left corner of the goalkeeper's area after a free kick by Panchyshyn, but the ball flew over the goal.
After that, the game calmed down somewhat in terms of dangerous moments near the goal of both teams, but not in terms of fighting - in the first 8 minutes, Dynamo players received two yellow cards. In the middle of the half, let's note a good long shot by Kremchanin - after the ricochet, the ball flew into the corner. Vitaly Mykhailiv and Gerych were active in the Lviv team, but both of them lacked accuracy, although the latter's shot was very effective and spectacular. The hosts entered the ball selection in time, due to which the Kyivans could not bring their attacks to a logical conclusion. But at the same time, the opponent did not manage to create special problems near the goal of Ignatenko.
In the last minute of the half, the Lviv team took a corner kick, Mykhavko headed dangerously through the goal, but Ignatenko took the ball after bouncing off the lawn. So at the break, the teams went for the minimal advantage of Dynamo.
The second half began with three standard positions in the performance of Lviv players. But neither a penalty kick nor a corner kick gave the hosts the desired result - Dynamo won the fight for the ball and neutralized the threat. In another episode, the opponents demanded a penalty, but the referee did not notice anything illegal in the actions of our defender.
Very close to doubling the advantage was Slesar, who was given a perfectly timed pass to the far post by Malysh, but Artem hit the crossbar from about the line of the goal area! Immediately after that, the home team launched a rapid counterattack with a shot at the goal. The audience couldn't help but like this kind of football, because the ball in the center of the field was almost never delayed - the teams responded with attack after attack, the game was emotional and tense.
Apparently, the home team had a slightly greater advantage, but the Dynamo team also spent a lot of time in attacks. A large number of fights and collisions led to the fact that there were many stops in the game, when doctors from both teams entered the field to treat the players. The hosts continued to create tension near the Dynamo goal, but neither another corner kick nor Dovbetskyi's blocked attempt led to a goal. But the Kyivans took full advantage of their moment at the end of the match: Malysh made a good pass to Zorenka, the goalkeeper coped with Maksym's shot, but deflected the ball in front of him, and Slesar, who was the first to finish, sent the ball into the net.
In response, we note a kick from a penalty by Panchyshyn, which hit the wall, as well as another goal scored by Slesar in the last minute of regular time. An effective counterattack was started by Ignatenko, who caught the ball and introduced it into the game after the home team's attack - Slesar picked up the ball, ran with it almost half the field and still saved the strength for a decisive shot from around the penalty area line - 3:0 in favor of "Dynamo U -19".
