We dominated the whole match. 2:0 - not the one we would be completely satisfied with - we could score much more.
It is also important that today we have involved a number of young performers who already correspond to the level of the first team. I am also glad that Benito is adding more and more with each match.
It is important that another of our young players, Yatsyk, made his debut today. He plays well, so this is an important debut for us and for him.
Lviv did not create any special problems for us, we had 7-8 chances to score more. But in order to play at the level that Dynamo Kyiv should have, we need time. We had a good team that became a champion, but a lot of good performers left the roster, and now we need time to rebuild the team with a focus on young players.
- How would you rate the changes in Lviv that have taken place in this team compared to the first round?
- It would be incorrect for me to discuss the opponent, this is not our problem, we must be responsible for our game. I can say one thing: "Lviv" is a good, solid team, I wish it to go on a victorious path.
- Do you think that the fact that today's match took place at the SKIF stadium may be Lviv's attempt to neutralize Dynamo's technical advantage?
- I don't know why we played at this particular stadium. Probably, this is the decision of the city authorities of Lviv. But the field was really not of very good quality today.
- Why is Supryaga not in the application again? When can we expect his return?
- It is very difficult to return to the squad a player who, due to health problems, missed almost two years. He had an operation in Germany, after which he recovered for a very long time. At the moment it is in a not very high quality form to help us. But we are waiting for it and counting on it.
— Considering the current standings, can you say that this championship of Ukraine is the most interesting for all the time that you have worked in our country?
- I can't say that. But I can say that this season is the most difficult not only for the entire time that I worked in Ukraine, but in general in my career. Teams constantly spend 10-12 hours moving from place to place. At the same time, there are no fans at the stadiums, and football players do not have the satisfaction from football that should be.
We still cannot play as well as we could. The war makes its own adjustments.
But due to the fact that football is an integral part of our life, it is very important that this championship is held, and we continue to live football no matter what.
I want to add that now is a difficult moment so that I can leave the team, leave in the existing circumstances. I think I should be here, I think it's necessary.
It is very important that we hold this championship. This is an important component of the image of Ukraine.
