A terrible episode occurred during the Dutch Cup semifinal between Feyenoord and Ajax.
According to ESPN, in the 62nd minute of the game, Ajax midfielder Davi Klassen had his head smashed by an object thrown from the stands. The game had to be suspended for 30 minutes. Feyenoord assistant coach John de Wolfe addressed the fans and asked them to behave with dignity.
After the resumption of the match Klassen continued the game, but after a few minutes he was still replaced.
As a result, Ajax won 2-1 and advanced to the final where they will play PSV. It is noteworthy that Klassen was the author of the winning goal against Feyenoord.
