Mircea Lucescu, the head coach of Dynamo Kiev, has health problems - he has developed coxarthrosis - arthrosis of the hip joint. This explains the fact that lately the Romanian specialist has been having serious difficulties moving around.
"When we played in the European competitions, we had to take the bus 10 hours at a time. At the same time I was working 7-8 hours a day. As a result, I developed coxarthrosis.
As long as I can, I will keep working. Otherwise, I will have to go to surgery. It would be great if I could have that surgery, but stay with the team. In any case, I have no thoughts about leaving soccer," Orang Sport quotes Lucescu as saying.
