President of the first-league Polissya Hennadii Butkevych became the first club owner in the history of Ukrainian football to finance the training and equipment of a VAR vehicle at his own expense.

For me, in football, the principle that the result on the field for both teams is decided on equal terms and in a fair fight is inviolable. I don't want to analyze the mistakes of referees in my team's matches, so I am ready to help referees avoid these mistakes. My decision to purchase a VAR machine is a decision to minimize controversial episodes.
I am financing the installation of VAR equipment in the car and transferring it to the balance sheet of the UAF judicial corps. The car will serve not only Polissia games but also other UPL and First League teams. Consider it my investment in a fair result on the field for all Ukrainian clubs," Butkevych commented on his decision.
