Ukrainian football referee Vadim Shevchenko died at the age of 66.
Shevchenko was one of the referees who worked at the matches of the first championship of Ukraine. Served matches of the Ukrainian championship until 2002. The last time he entered the field was on September 10, 2005, he worked as a side judge.
After completing his judicial career, he was engaged in the inspection of arbitration. From 2008 to 2011, he headed the Committee of Referees of the Football Federation of Ukraine.
