Feyenoord head coach Arne Slot commented on the team's defeat in the Europa League quarterfinal match against Roma (1:4).
"Mourinho told me that I shouldn't only look at Napoli and Manchester City, but he will also help me to see Roma. Maybe he's right, because they need to be complimented a lot for the character they've shown. We know how much Mourinho knows how to push players beyond the limits. You can't win against this Feyenoord unless you are that good.
We played a great game. However, the world champion beat us with great performances. Dybala and Abraham made a great contribution to the match. Mourinho teaches me that football is not always about playing well, but about the result. I didn't need this lesson anyway. We can be proud of our path in this tournament, but unfortunately the only thing that matters is the result," Slot said in a post-match interview.
