Stupar on Vanat's suspension: "It's not serious to punish a young player with a three-match ban out of the blue"

In a commentary to 1927.kiev.ua, the former referee Myroslav Stupar noted that the three-match suspension for Kyiv forward Vladyslav Vanat's comments about Kateryna Monzul's refereeing was unfair.

Miroslav Stupar

- Such sanctions are often used to prevent offending participants in football events, but are they justified? Vanat is a young man. Call him up, talk to him. I think he would apologise to Kateryna Monzul. But to punish him so harshly is not the right decision.

We watch matches of the top championships, and there coaches and players use worse language, and nothing happens. And here they decided to be a conditional "example". It's not serious to punish a young player with three matches of suspension out of the blue. Everyone has the right to their own opinion. It may not coincide with the opinion of the management or the fans.

Vanat's statement is not an insult to pride. It is his opinion. Perhaps he spoke in the heat of the moment without analysing it. In such a situation, you need to talk to the player first, and only then think about any sanctions," the expert said.

Зато вполне соответствует гнилым призывам кротофермы к "честному футболу".
В футбольных правилах нет запрета на высказывания после игры, данные СМИ.
А Катя дура набитая и марионетка кротов.
