Unfortunately, Dynamo is unlikely to finish higher than fourth this season. "Zorya only needs to get one point in three matches to be out of reach. "Oleksandriya is 11 points behind and will not even theoretically be able to push Kyiv out of fourth place. It turns out that Oleksandr Shovkovskyi's men have three official matches ahead of them, which will not have any tournament significance.
On the one hand, this is a great opportunity to give young people a chance. There is a lot of talk now about relying on our own players and trusting the Academy students. If the tournament position has already lost all meaning, then there will be a good opportunity to test young players. To understand whether they can play at this level at all, or whether it is worth gaining experience through a loan.
Back in 2020, when Mircea Lucescu first came in, there was a lot of talk about Anton Bol. Then his injury interfered. Then Ilya Zabarny played in this position. Now there is a lack of confidence. Only in the match against Oleksandriya did the native of Zhytomyr make his debut for the first team, coming on as a substitute at the end of the game. The guy needs to make up his mind - next season he will no longer be able to play for the youth team because of his age. We need to understand whether he can be counted on in the first team, or whether he should gain experience.
The second candidate is Sasha Yatsyk. I understand that he was not released last summer and winter on loan, but was not given his chance in the first team. He is the captain and one of the leaders of the youth team. We need to decide on this player. After all, he is 20 years old. It would be interesting to see him at the UPL level.
There is a lot of talk about Naveen Malysh's versatility. He is already on the list, but he hasn't had a chance to prove himself. Malysh can play in several positions - the middle of the field, midfield.
I think we can safely put Anton Tsarenko in this category. The guy's talent is obvious. Almost all of Dynamo's tactics are built around Vitalii Buyalskyi. He and Tsarenko are slightly different players. When Vitalii was suspended, Anton seemed to show himself well. Extra playing time in the first team will be good for Tsarenko's progress. Serhiy Buletsa has every chance of returning from his loan this summer. Perhaps Bohdan Lednev will be used in this position. We also need to make a decision on Anton.
On the other hand, there is Dynamo. They must come out to win every match. Whether or not there is tournament significance, a club at the Ukrainian level must win every game for the sake of its fans. This year, they had very few reasons to be happy. Therefore, maximum concentration and motivation despite the tournament position.
We need to build the team with an eye to the next season. Success in matches is a psychology that gives you self-confidence and further progress. There is something to work on. It turned out that Kahim Perris knows how to play football. Vlad Kabaev, Oleksandr Andrievskyi and Oleksandr Tymchyk have made obvious progress. Maksym Dyachuk and Ruslan Neshcheret are gaining experience. Kostiantyn Vivcharenko looks very good. All of them need game practice for further development. So that next season they will have stability.
