Scottish Hybernian forward Mykola Kukharevych will not help Ukraine at U-21 Euro-2023.
"Mykola Kukharevych will miss Euro-2023! The muscular injury the Hibernian forward suffered in mid-April has proved more difficult than originally expected. Mykola did everything necessary to return to the game on time, but after detailed examinations and two weeks of treatment it turned out that the player will need at least another month to fully recover.
Given that the Ukraine national youth team will start its training camp before the Euro in early June, Mykola will not have time to recover to help the team at the tournament even with the best of will and advanced technology. To date, the player is recovering at the Manchester City training base under the supervision of specialists from the City Football Group, who are doing everything possible for the player to be fully ready for the new season", - explained Dmytro Babeliuk, a sports doctor.
