Italian Inter coach Simone Inzaghi has shared his expectations for the Champions League final against English side Manchester City on 10 June at 22:00 in Istanbul:
"An outstanding success. We have reached the final that everyone has been dreaming of and we have done it convincingly. The key word here is together because we did something that was unthinkable together with our fans. Together we have proved that nothing is impossible. Now we have to crown it all with the upcoming final, which promises to be an exciting affair.
The match will be very tough. We're not the favourites, but that's the beauty of football. We're playing against one of the best teams in the world. The coach of this team is well known, but we will try to prepare as well as possible. We are not going to change our approach to the game. There will be periods during the match, when we will have to attack more actively, and periods when we will need to play well in defence.
Pep Guardiola? He has created a whole movement with his vision of football and playing style. It happened back at Barcelona. He has progressed day by day, so I think he is rightly called one of the best coaches in the world. City have a great organisation of the game. They have a lot of strong individual players, but they always play as a unit," said Inzaghi.
