I'm happy, but at the same time they could have scored and we could have lost. We are very pleased with ourselves. We made a golden hat-trick. It is a unique achievement. I want to congratulate Inter on a great game. I know how they feel now. We felt the same way two years ago. But they're the second team in Europe, that's great. "Real, don't relax - we have 13 fewer cups, but we're coming after you."
Simone Inzaghi, Inter head coach:"I congratulated my guys. They played beautifully. We lost a final we wanted to win at all costs, but they should be proud of themselves. I wouldn't trade these players for anything and today the whole world saw why. We held firm against a very strong team. We have a lot to be proud of, but we can be proud of ourselves.
I would like to hug every Inter fan, just like my guys. They are amazing. They are always with us. That's football. Failures like this make you stronger. I still can't understand how we didn't score at the end of the match. We clearly deserved more. We should have done a bit more to make the final work in our favour.
