Former Dynamo coach Oleksandr Khatskevych rated the game of Ukraine national team defender Mykola Matvienko.

It means the national team have no worthy substitute for Matvienko's position yet, and they trust him. The coaches need to figure out why he is making productive mistakes. Playing with his hand during a corner is an unacceptable mistake for a player of Matvienko's level. But Mykola is an experienced player with good passing and positional play," said Khatskevych.
