Renowned British TV presenter Piers Morgan has stood up for Arsenal's Ukrainian defender Oleksandr Zinchenko, who recently gave him an interview.
Speaking to Morgan, the 25-year-old Ukrainian said, among other things, that all Russian and Belarusian athletes should be banned from all sports and a ban at team level alone is not enough, given that the Russian Federation's war of occupation against Ukraine, supported by Belarus, is in its second year.
"Definitely all of them should be banned from competing anywhere. 100% they should not be allowed to participate in any competitions," Zinchenko said.
Of course, the Ukrainian's stance caused hysteria among representatives of the stinking sub-country called "Russia", who showered Morgan's tweet with their bile. However, the British TV presenter did not take a passive position in this situation and spectacularly responded to one of these comments, in which Zinchenko was called 'one of the most unpleasant figures in football'.
Morgan's response to that comment was as follows: "In fact, Zinchenko is one of the nicest and most impressive footballers I have met. You, on the other hand, just look like a horrible little prat".
