On Friday, 14 July, Dynamo Kyiv had two training sessions at their training camp in Austria.
Before the first of them, which started in the morning, some of the players worked out in the gym. Not for the first time during the training camp, instead of the traditional several laps of jogging, the training session on the pitch began with aerobic ball work, during which the players took their playing positions and played for a few minutes without pressure on a standard pitch.
This was followed by the traditional warm-up, during which physical training coach Vitaliy Kulyba offered the players an interesting exercise. Having split into pairs, they took turns trying to catch up with each other, with the one who was running away, although he had a few metres of head start, starting from a sitting position on the lawn. This exercise caused a lot of positive emotions among the players.
Then the main work with the balls began. At first, in squares, and then Mircea Lucescu guided his players during tactical exercises. Igor Gorbach has already started working with the ball, though with some restrictions - avoiding contact.
The first session ended with a small tournament on a small field with standard goals. The players were divided into three teams wearing training shirts of different colours, which took turns competing with each other. In the end, the green bibs won, with the orange ones trying to compete to the last.
