Famous football expert Oleksandr Sopko commented on Serhiy Rebrov's words that all Ukrainian national teams should follow the same model of play.
- In order to successfully bring everyone into a single system, a single model, it is necessary to start with children's teams, to instil modern football at this level - not just to fight for the result, but also to have a good technical base, to have smart football, built on ball control, on a quick transition from defence to attack and vice versa.
And to preach pressure, because without the latter, players cannot have real growth. Without the ability to press, you lose in everything, you lose mentally. For this purpose, from an early age, a footballer should be taught to use martial arts, not just imitate a fight, but not be afraid to engage in a fight, to take away without breaking the rules. Then you can build a chain. If the children's teams have all this, then you can build the pyramid that Rebrov was talking about. If not, then it will be difficult to rebuild players for modern football in adult football.
The problem that Serhii Rebrov spoke about is correct and timely. And it requires systematic work in all our football, - summed up Alexander Alexandrovich.
