Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih newcomer Yurii Vakulko has told the details of the scandal with the Ukrainian flag in Riga.
Yuriy Vakulko- "Riga has always helped Ukrainians. From the first days of the war, I always went to matches with the Ukrainian flag - no one had any questions. But then a new coach came in and started saying strange things: that I was distracting me from football, preventing me from concentrating... I'm very happy to be back in Ukraine, to see my parents. It's the first time I've been here during the war - I want to play at home and make the fans happy with my game," Vakulko was quoted as saying by Kryvyi Rih's website.
