Ihor Linnik, a well-known Ukrainian sports journalist, has shared his impressions of Dynamo Kyiv's performance following the results of two starting matches of the Ukrainian championship of the season-2023/24. Recall, the "white-blue" first beat "Minai" (4:1), and then - "Obolon" (4:2).

Its attacking potential - at the UPL level - is impressive, but even at this level the defence of this team does not stand up to any criticism. With all due respect to the opponents, the fire in Dynamo's backs arises regularly, out of nothing, in any combination of changing centre-backs.
The obvious imbalance, of course, will manifest itself as the season progresses through a lack of points and other tournament losses - if the problem is not solved promptly. Perhaps through the acquisition of at least one better centre-back or the transfer of Brazhko or Sidorchuk to the centre of defence.... The coaching staff knows best.
