On the eve of the first match of the 3rd round of Europa League qualification Slavia vs Dnipro 1, the Czech club issued an official statement of support for Ukraine.
"In every match we are rivals on the pitch. We fight until the last minute. However, outside it, we are people who want to live in a free world without fearing for our loved ones. This is a natural thing that does not exist in Ukraine. We have supported it from the very beginning and will continue to do so," Slavia said in a statement on its official Instagram page.
The match "Slavia" - "Dnipro-1" will take place today, 10 August. Kick-off is at 20:00.
