Shakhtar's head coach Patrick van Leeuwen commented on the result of the Ukrainian league match with Oleksandriya (2-1)
- "I think we started the game well, we were aggressive in attack. We had a lot of scoring chances, scored two beautiful goals through the right flank - two quality passes from Gio, after which Sikan scored the first goal and Traore the second. And besides that, there were many moments where we could have scored the third and fourth goals before the break.
In the second half, we lost in the organisation of the game, especially in defence, which should not have happened at all. And this gave Oleksandriya a lot of options. Riznyk helped the team well several times to keep the score 2-1 until the end of the match.
I don't like the fact that in the second half the level of our organisation and our style of playing with the ball dropped. And the same goes for the defence. So we will focus on that in the coming week," said van Leeuwen.
