Chornomorets CEO Anatoliy Misyura spoke about the "single TV pool" and the attitude of Odesa residents towards it.
- Anatolii Mykolaiovych, was the broadcast of Chornomorets' game against Obolon in Odesa prepared by a team of pros? Is the club's position on broadcasts and the TV pool changing?
- Chornomorets is probably the only club in the UPL that has not changed its position and course on the creation of a single UPL pool and the creation of UPL TV. Only our club, perhaps, has not been stormed, neither to the right nor to the left. This is how we have been going from the very beginning, and this is how we are going. I don't care who is sent to take the picture. Everything goes through UPL TV. There are responsible people there who are in charge of production and everything else. Who was there is not my question, my question is to show it well so that people can watch Chornomorets on TV.
- Does the quality of this season's broadcasts differ from the previous one?
- Honestly, I don't watch football on TV. I watch it at the stadium, either in Odesa or away. I don't know how they showed it. There were no complaints. If there are complaints, then we will improve the production units that make this film to make it even better. Probably, today they meet the requirements of UPL TV that were stated at the very beginning - what cameras, lenses, how many cameras, how to transfer it all to the sites.
- Does Rukh have its own UPL TV project, or did you consider it?
- They initiated it, and they were left alone. "Rukh was in that pool with all but three teams - Dynamo, Dnipro-1 and Zorya. A TV pool of 13 was formed. Then Rukh broke away and said it would go its own way. There were 12 clubs left, unfortunately, and Minaj left for other venues. But it's temporary - they said that if the situation changes, they will reconsider and there will be other communication.
- Is this broadcasting scheme, which now involves 12 teams, the best for Chornomorets ?
- I repeat, we are probably the only club that has not changed the vector of movement. We were part of the only UPL TV pool that should have been created a long time ago and could have benefited fans and clubs. The clubs could have earned something else through TV sales. This process has been launched, and only this year has there been any movement towards development.
