Some UEFA executives have denied discussing the possible invitation of Saudi teams to the Champions League, Foot Mercato reports.

The inclusion of Saudi teams in the competition could jeopardise UEFA's relationship with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), which is responsible for the Saudi league.
