After another match in the Spanish championship, Girona head coach Michel praised the team's Ukrainian midfielder Viktor Tsygankov.
- For me to have Viktor in the team is a blessing. He is a player who is spectacular, who has a game, has a mentality, has an understanding of team necessity and discipline. I think he has all of those things. Obviously he's better on the wing than in the middle. My English isn't good enough to teach him anything. He is capable of generating depth, shots and goals, he has it all, but he doesn't feel comfortable yet. He is improving in playing in the centre because he has to create chances for us, but of course he feels more comfortable on the edge," said Michel.
