As previously reported, on Monday late in the evening, Dynamo Kyiv returned to Bucharest, where the team will play its first home game of the Conference League play-offs against Turkish side Besiktas. On Tuesday, the Kyiv team held its first training session after the move.
In the morning, Mircea Lucescu's team worked out in the hotel gym, and in the evening, the players had a long theoretical session, after which they went to the Rapid Juleschi Stadium, where the first round of the clash with the Turkish giants will take place on Thursday.
The start time of the evening training session was slightly changed due to the intense heat that is currently prevailing in the Romanian capital. The session began not with the traditional several laps of jogging or warm-up, but with the practice of passing, which was personally led by Mircea Lucescu. This was followed by a warm-up, after which exercises on holding the ball in squares and in one large square began, while the goalkeepers worked out separately.
Particular attention was paid to the tactical build-up - the build-up. The evening session ended with game exercises, during which the players worked on their decision-making speed and individual technique.
On Wednesday, Dynamo will return to the stadium in the evening to hold a regular pre-match training session that will last no more than an hour. The game against Besiktas will take place on Thursday, 24 August, and will start at 20:00 Kyiv time.
