Darren England and Daniel Cook will return to refereeing in the English Premier League after making a fatal mistake during Tottenham's 2-1 win over Liverpool.
They were working on VAR and mistakenly advised the head referee Simon Hooper not to disallow Luis Diaz's goal due to offside. Subsequently, an audio recording of the referees' conversations was published, and both admitted their mistake, but were unable to overturn the decision.
After England and Cook missed the last round of the Premier League, they are set to return to their duties this weekend. According to Sky Sports, England will be the fourth referee in the match between Brentford and Burnley, while Cook will act as an assistant referee in the Sheffield United vs Manchester United match.
