"Zorya" offered two options for the Conference League matches against Maccabi Tel Aviv, according to the TaToTake telegram channel.
1st option. Move the Tel Aviv match to Lublin. And hold both matches between the teams there. Despite the adopted rule regarding the agreement on the use of sports facilities in Poland a month before the event, Zorya managed to reach an agreement with the local authorities to organise the match on October 26. The Luhansk side are ready to provide Maccabi with logistical support in finding dislocation and training facilities.
In this case, both matches between the clubs will take place in Lublin (the second one is scheduled for 9 November).
2nd option. Swap the away and home matches between the teams. That is, start with a home match in Lublin. And in a fortnight, if the situation in Israel changes, come to the away match. In case the ceasefire is not reached, option 1 will come into effect.
The Israeli club is opposed to both options. "Maccabi" does not want to play on 26 October anywhere at all. The Israeli side demands that the match be moved to early November. "Zorya" has a very busy calendar in UPL in this period, a Ukrainian Cup match and another game against Maccabi. The team will have to play some games in the mode - in two days in the third with travelling, which is unacceptable for the Luhansk club.
Despite a large number of letters from Zorya, UEFA began to respond to the situation only yesterday, but has not yet made a final decision on the matter.
