Veres Rivne midfielder Andrii Bliznichenko told us how Myron Markevych coached Dnipro.
- We did not communicate with him. I hoped that he would give me more playing time and believe in me. He started to trust some young players immediately, but not me. Perhaps I was a little unlucky that at that time the team was very high in the Europa League, so the coach was counting on a limited number of players. I think I performed well in the league games, but I didn't get a chance in the European competitions. Somehow Markevych did not believe in me.
He communicated very little with anyone at all. He was practically absent from training. Markevych's assistants coached, and he himself walked somewhere on the sidelines or ran around the stadium. There was no such thing as him leading every training session. During the recovery sessions, Markevych played football with us. That is, he watched the process from the outside. Perhaps at that time he was thinking about tactics or the line-up for the next match," said Andrii.
