The Surkis Brothers Charitable Foundation and FC Dynamo Kyiv continue to support Ukrainian servicemen who are heroically defending the independence and freedom of our country.
On Tuesday, the NTC Dynamo transferred rehabilitation equipment for the needs of wounded servicemen. The next day, four more trucks of the Surkis Brothers Foundation arrived in Kyiv.
This time, the main cargo was vitaminised drinks, which the military need. These are energy and tonic drinks containing vitamin supplements. They are in demand both among the Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers performing combat missions at the front line and among the border guards. Of course, the drinks meet high European standards and are fully certified.
The soldiers who received the goods expressed their gratitude to the Surkis Brothers Foundation and Dynamo football club for another help that will cover their immediate needs.
Dmitry Brief, Vice President of Dynamo, spoke in more detail about the cargo handed over to help the military:
"Today we are handing over 60 tonnes of aid to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Border Guard Service. This cargo consists primarily of energy and tonic drinks with special vitamin supplements.
We constantly receive requests from the military for energy drinks, so the Surkis Brothers Foundation, together with the Dynamo Kyiv football club, is constantly working with international partners to provide the military with everything they need. This is not the first consignment of such cargo, we have already delivered 10 trucks. Another 17 trucks are currently on their way to Kyiv. We plan to deliver 3-4 trucks of similar aid every week.
I would also like to announce that four trucks with medical equipment from Switzerland and two trucks with rehabilitation equipment from Norway are on their way. We are grateful to all the defence forces for all their contribution to supporting Ukraine's sovereignty and protecting us. Like all Ukrainians, we help our defenders to bring victory closer and restore peace in our country.
Yesterday, the Surkis Brothers Foundation handed over two trucks with rehabilitation equipment from our partners in Norway for the rehabilitation of the military. This essential equipment includes wheelchairs, stilts, walkers, special back devices, antiseptics and other medical supplies that wounded soldiers need for their rehabilitation and recovery.
Undoubtedly, we all understand that as the winter period approaches, our entire home front must work to provide the defence forces with everything they need. We must work for the benefit of our country, our defence and our sovereignty."
Over the past week, the Surkis Brothers Foundation has already delivered five trucks with humanitarian aid from Norway and Poland. One part of the aid included a variety of rehabilitation equipment - wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, medical supplies, and baby food.
In addition, another 20 aid trucks from different countries are on their way to Ukraine. In particular, the Surkis Brothers Foundation is bringing medical equipment from Switzerland, rehabilitation equipment from Norway, vitaminised drinks from the United States of America and food from Poland.
Moreover, four off-road vehicles that the Foundation plans to send to the front line for the needs of the military are currently undergoing technical diagnostics and preparation at the service station and will be ready to go to the front line very soon.
Thus, the flow of goods for our defenders, which is part of the charity work of the Surkis Brothers Foundation and FC Dynamo Kyiv, will continue and increase in the future. In the winter, our military need volunteer help especially.
By supporting and assisting the Ukrainian military, ensuring their comfortable functioning and facilitating the performance of their duties, we are bringing our common dream victory over the invaders and return to peaceful life in a united and indivisible Ukraine closer.
