The head of the Ukrainian Electronic Football Association, Vladyslav Shovkovskyi, commented on the appointment of his father, Oleksandr Shovkovskyi, as acting head coach of Dynamo Kyiv.
- I can comment on this only as a son. Of course, I wish both Dynamo, which I support, and my father success. I believe that this is a necessary step for him to move from assistant coach to acting head coach.
We all understand that this stage must come to become a head coach. Given my father's history with Dynamo Kyiv, I can't think of a better place to start a head coaching career.
I also take into account the fact that he loves Dynamo and will do everything to ensure that the team achieves results that will satisfy both the club's management and the fans. That's why I'm happy for him and believe that there is potential - both for Dynamo and for him," said Vladyslav.
