The first round of the 2023/24 season of the Ukrainian U-19 Championship has come to an end. Here are the statistical results for Dynamo U-19.

Ihor Kostiuk's team went into the winter break at the top of the standings. In 17 matches of the first round, Dynamo won 12, drew three and lost twice.

The Kyiv team is 1 point ahead of its nearest pursuer, Dnipro-1, and two points ahead of Shakhtar (the Miners have played two fewer games).

Dynamo U-19 is ranked first in terms of efficiency, having scored 44 goals against opponents (Dnipro-1 scored 38).

"Dynamo is currently the best team in the championship in terms of expected goals xG (39.08), ahead of Rukh by almost 5 goals. The Kyiv team also has the best XPoints (expected points) score of 38.0.

Kyiv's defence is also in second place (14 goals conceded), but it should be noted that Shakhtar, who played two fewer matches, is in the lead here. However, the White and Blues' xG against (expected goals conceded) is in first place and stands at 13.4.

"The White and Blues made an average of 377.45 passes per game (83% accurate), with the same three teams making more. The average number of long passes per game is 42.66 (56% accurate), and they are also among the top three teams in terms of average passing distance - 21.08 metres.

On average, Dynamo made 52.73 passes per game into the final third of the field (3rd in the league), 72% of which were accurate (2nd in the league). Kyiv lead the league in the average number of passes up to the 20-metre area from the goal (excluding shots and crosses) - 9.14 per game.

Dynamo ranks fourth in the league in terms of the number of crosses with an average of 14.2 per game (36% accurate). At the same time, the right wing makes the most crosses (7.4). "Dynamo has the second highest number of corners taken, with Ihor Kostiuk's men taking 86 in the first round. 12 of them resulted in shots towards the goal, with an xG of 1.56 (Rukh is the leader in this ranking, having taken 108 corners, of which 27 resulted in shots, with an xG of 2.99). The majority of Kyiv's corner kicks were directed to the near post (29).
