In the first part of the Ukrainian championship, the referees took red cards out of their pockets 50 times for offenders.
And it turned out that 2023 was the most "fruitful" year for red cards in the history of Ukrainian championships: 85 (!) players were sent off, including 35 in the spring of last season.
Most often, players left the field early in May - 17 times and August - 16.
In total, since 1992, 1546 suspensions have been recorded for players from 48 clubs.
