Arsenal striker Bukayo Saka has apologised for the episode in which Liverpool defender Kostas Tsimikas suffered a broken collarbone.
After a fierce collision with Saha, Tsimikas crashed into Jurgen Klopp on the touchline and was unable to continue the game. The Greek defender was immediately taken to hospital, where Kostas was diagnosed with a broken collarbone.
"I heard he was in hospital, so I would like to apologise to him. Of course, I didn't want this to happen.
For me, it was an equal episode, and I played shoulder to shoulder with him. I didn't see it, but he must have fallen badly. I also didn't see him bump into Jurgen Klopp. I was focused on continuing the game because I didn't think it was a foul. That was my vision of the episode," Sack was quoted as saying by Football.London.
