Volodymyr Yezerskyi, the new coach of Lviv's Karpaty, commented on his start at the First League leaders' coaching staff.
- I am very happy to be returning to my native Lviv. This is my home, a city with which I have many memories. I was invited to join Karpaty by Myron Markevych. Many years ago, it was this coach who gave me the opportunity to play big football. Now we will work together again.
I am well aware of Myron Markevych's requirements, because I used to be his ward and later assisted him. I know what kind of football he likes and understand what he wants. I think I won't need much time to integrate. I've seen several of Karpaty's games this season. And now I am convinced that we have all the conditions to build a solid team in Lviv. The team is still in the process of formation and there is a lot of work to be done," said Yezersky.
