Mario Zagalo has died

Former Brazil player and head coach Mario Zagalo has passed away at the age of 92. He was the last living world champion in 1958.

He had a total of four World Cup gold medals in his domestic collection. In addition to 1958, as a footballer he won the World Cup in 1962. After becoming a coach, he led the Brazilians to gold in 1970. And in the victorious 1994 he worked as assistant head coach. He was also one of only three people in history to win the World Cup both as a player and as a coach. Apart from him, Franz Beckenbauer and Didier Deschamps.
