Dynamo's first-team doctor Ihor Konivets spoke about the medical examination that the White and Blues players underwent before the start of the preparatory period.
- At first glance, all the players are in good condition. For two days, they were examined by narrow specialists - a neurologist, otolaryngologist, ophthalmologist, cardiologist, underwent laboratory tests, and also had instrumental examinations, including ECHO cardiography and abdominal ultrasound.
According to the preliminary results of the examinations, we do not see any significant comments or changes in the players. We will receive the full results of the examinations in about two or three days, analyse them, and then decide whether additional examinations are needed.
- Are there any examinations that are of particular importance for footballers?
- For players, one of the most feared examinations has always been for the presence of fat in the body. For all other examinations, they are calm and have no questions.
- Does anyone have problems with excess weight?
- I do, but I won't mention any names. We will see how we can correct this, but I think everything will be fine and everyone will be able to withstand the loads that the coaching staff will offer at the winter training camp.
- The fans are most looking forward to Andriy Yarmolenko's return. What are the dynamics of his recovery, is everything going according to schedule?
- The dynamics are positive, he is already working out individually, but I think in a week or two he will join the general group. And then we will see how he is doing. According to the results of the examinations, he is doing well.
