Former Juventus CEO Beppe Marotta expressed his opinion on the transfer of Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo in 2018.

"Ronaldo's transfer to Juventus did not yield the desired results. I think that his contribution did not meet the very high expectations that were associated with his arrival," TuttomercatoWeb quoted Marotta as saying.

As a reminder, Ronaldo played for Juventus from 2018 to 2021.
