Shakhtar CEO Serhiy Palkin has said that the club have rejected a transfer offer for midfielder Georgiy Sudakov.

What does this indicate? That our president is creating perhaps the strongest team in Shakhtar's history. To be respected in Europe, to win European trophies. We will not let our hands down. And we will do everything to make the Champions League anthem sound at Ukrainian stadiums.
Understand, the war for us started ten years ago. We lost our home, we lost the Donbass Arena. We have been playing on foreign fields for 10 years. But even then, we have not given up for a minute. And we want to assure you: we will do everything to make Ukrainian clubs play honourably in Europe.
