The day before, former Dynamo coach Mircea Lucescu visited the Giuleschi Stadium in Bucharest, where Rapid hosted Universitatea.

At the game, Lucescu Sr. met Daniel Panca, the current coach of the Romanian youth national team, as the latter shared on social media.

As for the game, it ended with a score of 4-3, with the hosts scoring the winning goal in the 94th minute, although they were still losing 1-3 in the 75th minute.

As a reminder, Rapid's management is actively persuading Lucescu to lead their project for the next season.
