Shakhtar head coach Marino Pusic has commented on the information that the club rejected the offer to sell team leader Georgiy Sudakov.
"Every coach is happy when he can save one of his best players. It's obvious. I am happy not only for myself, but also for the club. I think it's a good signal for Europe that we can keep quality players.
I am also always happy when a club and a good player decide to move to the highest level. This is a normal process in the football business. But now I am happy that he stays with us to continue his development," said Pušić.
Earlier it was reported that Shakhtar refused to sell Sudakov for 40 million euros to Italian Napoli.
