Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino has explained why he decided to replace midfielder Mykhailo Mudryk at half-time of the FA Cup semi-final match against Middlesbrough.

"Replacing Mudryk? He had a yellow card. At the end of the first half, there was an episode when he went into a dangerous collision, almost knocking down an opponent. So we didn't want to take any risks and replaced him at half-time," Goal.com quoted Pochettino as saying.
It will be recalled that in this game Chelsea won a crushing 6-1 victory and reached the final of the English League Cup.
