Renowned journalist Serhiy Tyshchenko commented on the 0-2 defeat of Dynamo Kyiv by Kosovo's Balkani in yesterday's friendly at the training camp in Turkey.
- "Dynamo lost to Kosovo's Balkani in the first sparring match. I wouldn't make a tragedy out of it. The team worked very well physically in Kyiv. Now they are working on the same physicality in Turkey. We had our first sparring session almost immediately after arriving on Turkish soil.
The fate of the match was decided by the gross individual mistakes of Brazhko and Dubinchak. One lacked experience, while the other simply had an accident.
It's not about the result, it's about the game. So far, it's not even close to being of any quality. The team is working on physical activity. Today Shovkovskyi tried to watch Vanat and Ponomarenko together. It didn't work out very well. Vlad is more of a forward, so he is not very comfortable on the wing.
In the second half, Dyachuk came on to the right wing of the defence. This is not his position at all. It was a forced move because Tymchyk was out. 18-year-old Andrii Matkevych came on for the second half. So far, he hasn't convinced me much. He did not play for almost two months in the autumn because of a shin injury.
The conclusion is that there are no results and no games now. There is an explanation for this. Shovkovskyi is looking for new options, watching players. The attack is completely toothless," Tyshchenko wrote on his Facebook page.
