Control match

"Dynamo (Kyiv, Ukraine) - Levski (Sofia, Bulgaria) - 0:1 ( 0:1)
Goal:
Galchev (22)

"Dynamo: (1st half) - Nesheret, Gusev, Popov, Mikhavko, Vivcharenko, Brazhko, Ramadani, Tsarenko, Karavaev, Benito, Vanat; (2nd half ) - Buschan, Dyachuk, Bilovar, Sirota, Dubinchak, Brazhko (Tsarenko, 68), Andriyevsky, Malysh, Voloshin, Pashko (Diallo, 74), Matvienko.

The match started at an average pace, and neither team had an advantage. But Levski soon managed to create an urgency at Dynamo's goal, and realised one of such chances. Firstly, an overhead pass into the Dynamo penalty area resulted in a shot from six metres, the ball flew straight into the "nine", but Nescheret played perfectly. Five minutes later Galchev shot low from outside the penalty area, and the ball flew exactly into the bottom corner of Dynamo goal - 0:1.

"After conceding a goal, Dinamo became more active, but it did not lead to any cardinal changes. In the remaining part of the first half neither team created even a hint of a goal.

The second half was not much different from the first half. Although it started with a good free-kick from Andrievski, after which the ball flew close to the Levski goal post. However, the Bulgarian team responded quite quickly, and more sharply: after a shot on Dinamo's goal from 7 metres the ball almost hit the bar.

Further the game was played in an equal struggle, but only Levski created chances in this period of the game. First Buschan managed to save Dynamo from a sure goal after a one-on-one, and then the Kyiv keeper managed to reach the ball, which flew into the "nine" of his goal as a result of a long-range shot. And that was the end of the match - 1:0, a victory for Levski.

Oleksandr Shovkovskiy's team will play their next friendly next Thursday, 8 February, against Latvian Liepaja.
