Karpaty head coach Myron Markevych shared the latest news from the Lviv team's location.
- Karpaty are having some bad luck with Latin American legionnaires. Those potential newcomers with whom the negotiations have already reached the home stretch, refused to come to Ukraine at the last moment for various reasons. Therefore, apart from the Brazilian Neves, who already defended the colours of Karpaty last autumn, we will not have any more players from overseas.
However, that's okay. We have someone to start the spring part of the season. Having loaned Eduard Kozik and Andriy Buleza from Shakhtar, we have intensified the competition in the defensive line. It is also desirable to strengthen the team with a scoring striker.
The main thing now is to have a good preparatory period, to be focused on winning first place. Meanwhile, our scouts will be looking for players to play in the UPL. After all, I did not hide the fact that we should expect a serious addition to Karpaty in the summer transfer window," Myron Markevych promised.
